Afterfall 2.0! Major update


Hi people. 

I had previously thought of Afterfall as a complete game. After receiving some criticism and feedback over some of the games issues, it made me think that this game means a lot to me, so I wanted it to be as perfect as it can be. For the last few months I've been hard at work trying to improve Afterfall to reach its greatest potential.  

Some of the things I've added and changed are:

The introduction sequence. I've remade the introduction sequence so you can better get to know the main cast a bit better, and so you know which characters are important and which ones aren't.

A map! There is now a map tab in the menu, where you can see places you've visited, and see your rough location on the map. Dungeons are marked in yellow to contrast with them map, roads are red and coasts and buildings are in dark blue.

The quest tab has also seen an overhaul, and has been renamed to "Missions". As I feel 'quests' is more at home in a medieval fantasy rpg.

Missions and objectives will turn green once complete

New portraits! The portraits of Afterfall... I always felt they were a bit 'off'.  So, all portraits have received an overhaul. As well as new portraits for some characters being added. The left side being the newer portraits, and the right the old ones.



Next, there are more graphical changes to all the parallax backgrounds and pictures that appear in game. Every single one has been redrawn.

As an example here is the view from the top of the world congress dungeon Before vs After.








Lastly, there's been a lot of tweaking and bug squashing. I've added a few items,  fixed a few sprites, tweaked a few states, buffs and debuffs for items and weapons. Fixing collision issues, improving dialogue, and so on. The full changelog can be viewed here: https://pastebin.com/Kk9tfFBC
